Bloomberry

VINTAGE FURNITURE STORE

Bloomberry is an Amsterdam based high-end vintage furniture store.

We created some experimental interactivity for this tailor made template, like the slider animation made with SVG clip path or the zooming functionality inside of product pages.
We used Elastic Search to create a custom built search engine and separate the search functionality from the website database.

We built an import script to import at once 5000+ products from the previous website.
The backend has numerous enhancements like the creation of a mailing tool to send a custom list of products to clients or team members.

Desirée Dolron

Desirée Dolron is a Dutch photographer and filmmaker.

Our goal for this project was to create an easy-to-use gallery website with smooth interactivity on all devices.
The navigation between the front page, the galleries and zoomed images are made with Ajax. So the users can access the content quickly without reloading the complete page.
We put some attention into the preloading of images, compression and cache setup to keep the navigation fast without loosing the quality.

hfn music

hfn music is an Hamburg based record label producing mainly German and Scandinavian artists.

This is the third version of hfn music's website we have built. This version has been created with Drupal 8 and is now part of a multisite installation: the codebase is shared with other record labels websites while having a different template and database.

For this template our main goal was to simplify the interface, to create a responsive adaptation and to use the entire space of the browser. 
We decided to remove the footer completely and move all the informations contained in the footer inside of a mobile style header. With more space for content, we could give the website a clean magazine style.

This project is divided in two parts: hfn music the main label and hafendisko which is a subdivision of hfn music and has its own dedicated pages.

Port of Amsterdam International is an organisation in charge of managing exchanges between Amsterdam and other harbours in the world.

This time sensitive project has been executed in 2 weeks only, front and backend included.
One of the requirements was to give the possibility to editors to create different layouts on each page. 
We built a flexible content type, multiple blocks of content with images, texts and collapsible content. 

Coloured overlays above images are made with CSS blend modes so the colour blends with the picture below instead of being just a semi-transparent layer.

This project was made in collaboration with uniqode.nl.

Lemon Scented Tea is an Amsterdam based advertising agency focused on story telling. They work with national and international brands.

The challenge of this website was to create a responsive website with an unusual layout mainly made of slanted lines and arrows. We used several techniques to be able to add code generated masking, transparency or gradient backgrounds that would scale properly on any screen size.

The projects are loaded with ajax within the project list. Each project can have multiple blocks of content that can be reordered: video images and text. This gives the website editors more freedom in the way they create content.

Melchior Interieur are interior design store located in Amstelveen and Den Haag.

Terrass" Hotel is a four star hotel in Paris Montmartre and part of the hotel group Maurice Hurand.

The main requirement for this project was to create an extremely flexible backend to generate complex layouts on the fly and a template that could be easily adapted to four other hotels websites.

We created a system of panels and blocks where site editors can create a unique layout on each page. They have the possibility to add a large number of blocks with different sizes, content and functionalities. We also added a function allowing the duplication of any created page so a complex page and layout can be duplicated in one click.

Anders Trentemøller is a Danish music producer.

The goal of this project was to merge Anders Trentemøller's main website with his record label's website, previously made on Wordpress.
We first created an import script to import the content from the label's website. Then created a template and a structure where both websites could cohabit.
With this new structure, editors can decide to post content either on the artist's website or the record label's website.
One of the requirements was to have the possibility to add or edit content from a mobile phone so the artist could easily post articles while being on tour.

Capara is an Antwerp based fashion brand.

Sometimes building a regular template, where the size of elements is fixed is just not enough.
For this project we built a flexible system where the client could create unique and complex layouts on every page.
Both collections galleries and information pages can have multiple images and text blocks with size settings, parallax effect's settings or the addition of experimental text and layout effects with blend modes. So the text would have different colours depending on the picture or the background colour.
We also created a custom made html5 video/canvas player that would autoplay on desktop or iOS.

Immocarte is a real estate start-up targeting the French market.

This website is a search engine prototype, it is user-based and created with Google Maps API and Elastic search. 
We created a large number of customisation for Immocarte: advanced backend styling, custom checkout, possibility to save and manage advanced search filters, archiving of properties, invoices, user messages, favorites etc.
The search engine itself reacts to the map movements, filters out results that are outside the map and groups multiple results together in a clickable icon.
The interface has been modified with specific menus and interactivity to enhance the experience on small screens and touch devices.
